Follow I-279 South to Route 28 North. Cross the 40th Street Bridge. Continue on 40th Street to Liberty Avenue. Turn left onto Liberty Avenue. Follow Liberty Avenue until you reach West Penn Hospital (on the left). Turn left onto South Millvale Avenue. At the end of the street, turn right onto Friendship Avenue, and loop around Friendship Park. Cercone Village on the Park is located at the corner of Friendship Avenue and Edmond Street. From the Northeast

Follow I-376 West to Wilkinsburg Exit. Follow Ardmore Blvd. (Rte. 8) to Penn Ave. to Fifth Avenue. Turn left onto Fifth Avenue and follow to South Aiken Avenue. Turn right onto South Aiken and follow to Baum Boulevard. Bear right onto Liberty Avenue. Follow Liberty Avenue until you reach West Penn Hospital (on the right). Turn right onto South Millvale Avenue. At the end of the street, turn right onto Friendship Avenue, and loop around Friendship Park. Cercone Village on the Park is located at the corner of Friendship Avenue and Edmond Street. Parking is available in the lot behind Cercone Village at a cost of $3.

From the South

Follow Route 51 north to West Liberty Avenue. Turn right onto West Liberty Avenue and continue through the Liberty Tunnel and across the Liberty Bridge. Follow I-579 North (signs to the Mellon Arena) to the Bigelow Boulevard Exit. Follow Bigelow Boulevard and take the Liberty Avenue Bloomfield Exit, crossing the Bloomfield Bridge. Bear right at the end of the Bridge onto Liberty Avenue. Follow Liberty Avenue until you reach West Penn Hospital (on the left). Turn left onto South Millvale Avenue. At the end of the street, turn right onto Friendship Avenue, and loop around Friendship Park. Cercone Village on the Park is located at the corner of Friendship Avenue and Edmond Street. Parking is available in the lot behind Cercone Village at a cost of $3.

From the West and Pittsburgh International Airport

Follow Route 60 South to I-279 North (no turns, only name change). Follow I-279 North through the Fort Pitt Tunnel and across the Fort Pitt Bridge. Take the Liberty Avenue exit. Follow Liberty Avenue through Pittsburgh to Bloomfield. Once you see the hospital on the left, turn left onto South Millvale Avenue. At the end of the street, turn right onto Friendship Avenue, and loop around Friendship Park. Cercone Village on the Park is located at the corner of Friendship Avenue and Edmond Street. Parking is available in the lot behind Cercone Village at a cost of $3.

From Pittsburgh / Monroeville Exit
(old Exit 6, new Exit 57) on Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76)

• Take I-376 West (toward Pittsburgh and airport) to the North Side / North Shore Exit.
• Proceed across the Fort Duquesne Bridge. Bearing right, take the I-279 North ramp.
• Take the East Ohio Street Exit (Exit 7C). Stay in the left lane and take the East Ohio Street Exit ramp.
• At the first traffic light, turn left onto I-279 South (East Ohio Street).
• Proceed through the East Ohio Street business district to James Street. (James Street is the second street on the right in the business district.)
• Turn right onto James Street. Follow James Street through three stop signs and one traffic light. Turn left into the parking garage.
  

From Route 28 North /Allegheny Valley Exit (old Exit 5, new Exit 48) on Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-76)

• Follow Route 28 South to East Ohio Street.
• Bear right at the sign marked East Ohio Street / I-279. Follow the signs to East Ohio Street.
• Continue straight through three traffic lights into the East Ohio Street business district.
• Turn right onto James Street. (James Street is the second street on the right in the business district.)
• Follow James Street through three stop signs and one traffic light.
• Turn left into the parking garage.

From I-79 North

• Take I-79 South to the I-279 South Exit.
• Follow I-279 South to the East Street Exit (Exit 8B).
• Proceed through the stop sign.
• At the first traffic light, turn right onto North Avenue.
• At the next traffic light, turn right onto James Street and left into the parking garage.

From the West and Pittsburgh International Airport; From I-79 South

• Follow Route 60 South to I-279 North (no turns, only name change).
• Take the I-279 Exit to Pittsburgh.
• Follow I-279 North across the Fort Pitt Bridge.
• Take the North Side / North Shore Exit and proceed across the Fort Duquesne Bridge.
• Bearing right, remain on I-279 North ramp.
• Take the East Ohio Street Exit (Exit 7C). Stay in the left lane and take the East Ohio Street Exit ramp.
• At the first traffic light, turn left onto I-279 South (East Ohio Street).
• Proceed through the East Ohio Street business district to James Street. (James Street is the second street on the right in the business district.)
• Turn right onto James Street. Follow James Street through three stop signs and one traffic light.
• Turn left into the parking garage.

Directions from James Street Garage to:

Classroom in Cancer Center (If you can park on the 5th floor of the parking garage you can skip the first 3 steps.)

1. Take the parking Garage elevator to 5 th level – Allegheny Cancer Center
2. On the 5th level take the big orange door back into the parking garage
3. Turn left inside the parking garage and walk up toward Allegheny Cancer Center
4. Enter the Allegheny Cancer Center from the 5th floor of the parking garage
5. At the end of the carpeted hallway turn Right, onto another carpeted hallway
6. Pass restrooms and water fountains on the left
7. Enter the 3rd doorway on the left, room 204 also called classroom B.

Outpatient Clinic on 3rd floor in South Tower

1. Take the parking Garage elevator to *1 – Hospital
2. Follow the flow of foot traffic down a long hall, continue straight through the set of glass doors
3. Turn Left at the first intersecting hallway after the glass doors
4. Travel ½ way down this hall. On the ceiling will be a sign showing you the set of B elevators on either side of the intersecting hallway
5. Take any of the B elevators up to the 3rd floor
6. Take the carpeted hallway to the end
7. Turn Left and look for Surgical Ambulatory on right
8. Register at the Surgical Ambulatory desk.
